Terms & Conditions

Owner/Operator: The Traders MasterMind (“TTM”, “we”, “us”, “our”)

By accessing the Site, creating an account, enrolling in memberships or registering for live sessions, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

The Traders MasterMind provides educational content for traders, including on-demand lessons and live Zoom sessions. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice.

2. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
  • You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

3. Memberships & billing

We currently offer a Free membership and a paid Strategist membership (collectively, “Memberships”). Additional tiers may be added later.

  • Billing & renewals. Paid Memberships bill in advance on a recurring basis (monthly/annual as selected) via PayFast. Your plan auto-renews until cancelled.
  • Prices & taxes. Prices may change with notice on the Site or by email. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel any time from your account dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds. Because access is digital and immediate, fees are generally non-refundable. If a refund policy applies (e.g., first-payment 7-day guarantee), it will be stated on the specific offer page and will govern.
  • Failed payments. We may pause or terminate access after failed or reversed payments.

4. Courses, live sessions & waitlists

  • Registration. Live sessions require registration to receive the Zoom link and calendar invite.
  • Times & changes. Session times and dates may change; please check the Site for updates. All times are SAST unless stated otherwise.
  • Capacity & waitlists. A “Notify me” or waitlist sign-up does not guarantee a seat. You will be emailed if/when registration opens.
  • Recording consent. Live sessions may be recorded. By attending you consent to being recorded (video/audio/username) and to TTM using the recording for educational and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to appear, keep your camera/mic off and use chat only.
  • Access rules. Some courses/sessions require the Strategist membership. If you attempt to access paid content without the required membership, you’ll be prompted to upgrade.

5. Community conduct

To keep the community useful and respectful, you agree to:

  • Be professional; no harassment, hate speech, spam, or unlawful content.
  • Keep member-only materials private; do not share login details or downloads.
    We may remove content or suspend/terminate access for violations.

6. Intellectual property

All Site content, courses, recordings, workbooks, and branding are the property of TTM or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other IP laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, distribute, or create derivative works without written consent.

7. No financial advice; risks

TTM provides educational information only. Nothing is financial advice or a recommendation to buy/sell any instrument. Trading involves substantial risk and may not be suitable for all investors. You can lose more than your initial investment. You are solely responsible for your decisions and outcomes.

8. Third-party services

We use third-party tools like Zoom (for live sessions) and PayFast (for payments). Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes.

9. Privacy & data protection

Your personal information is processed in line with our Privacy Policy (POPIA/GDPR aligned). By using the Site, you consent to that processing.

10. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may update the Site, Memberships, features, or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Site and/or emailed to you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or if required by law. You may terminate at any time via your account. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive termination.

12. Liability & indemnity

  • No warranties. The Site and content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant specific trading results.
  • Limitation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TTM, its directors, and staff are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trades, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  • Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold TTM harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Site, your trades, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa for any dispute.
