  • Strategy types used – Are your methods aligned with your market?
  • Execution consistency – Are you following your rules or freelancing?
  • Capital deployment – Are you risking too much, or not enough?
  •  Time commitment vs returns – Is your effort aligned with your results?

You’ll receive a Trading Audit Template to complete privately after the session. This forms the foundation for your personalized growth path and feeds directly into the next session’s 90-day execution plan.

The DNA of a High-Edge Trading System
Live on Zoom
2025-11-05
7:00 pm
Learn how to build structured trading models with clear setups, filters, and exit logic. Receive a Trading System Blueprint Template and see real-world examples of trend and mean-reversion systems.

In this session, we take a deep dive into how professional traders build advanced technical models that go beyond basic indicators. The goal is to understand what separates a generic setup from a structured, rules-based model with a real edge. Learn how to build structured trading models with clear setups, filters, and exit logic.

You’ll learn the 5 key components that form the backbone of any effective system:

  • Market condition filter – Identify the environment your model works in
  • Setup trigger – Define precise entry signals
  • Confirmation logic – Add filters to reduce noise and false signals
  • Entry method – Detail the exact conditions for pulling the trigger
  • Exit rules – Create logical stop loss and take profit criteria

We’ll walk through examples of both trend-following and mean-reversion systems to show how these concepts apply in real markets.
You’ll also receive a Trading System Blueprint Template to start drafting your own model.

Learn how to trade equities and equity CFDs using a structured, rules-based process. This course takes you from the basics of shares and share CFDs through to valuation filters, technical trend analysis, trade triggers, stop placement, position sizing, trade management, and review. The focus is practical: fewer random trades, clearer decisions, and a defined process before any trade is placed.

This course gives the learner a step-by-step framework. Instead of chasing tips or reacting emotionally to chart movement, the learner is taught to filter the market, identify direction, wait for a valid setup, use a trigger, place a structure-based stop, calculate position size, and manage the trade according to rules.

By the end of the course, the learner should have a complete trade-planning process for equities and equity CFDs, including a strategy checklist, position-sizing method, trade worksheet, and review routine.

What Students Will Learn

  • The difference between owning shares and trading share CFDs.
  • How margin, leverage, exposure, spread, overnight financing, and dividend adjustments affect CFD trades.
  • How to use simple valuation ratios as filters, not entry signals.
  • How to use the 8, 21, and 89 EMAs to define momentum and trend context.
  • How to draw support and resistance zones using candle bodies and wicks.
  • How to apply a rules-based EMA strategy for long and short setups.
  • How to place stops using market structure instead of a fixed percentage.
  • How to calculate position size from entry, stop, and account risk.
  • How to manage trades using structure, support/resistance, reward checks, and exit rules.
  • How to journal and review trades so the strategy can improve over time.
  • How dividend-related share CFD trading works at an introductory advanced level.

Fibonacci as a Structure Tool
Group Session 1: Using Fibonacci Retracements in a Practical Way
Live Zoom Session
2026-09-09
7:00 pm
Fibonacci works best when it is combined with price structure, trend, and market context. This month focuses on how retracements and extensions can support pullback analysis, stretch recognition, and more practical technical confluence.

Learn how Fibonacci retracement levels can help identify pullback zones within a broader technical analysis process.

Objectives

  1. Understand the purpose of Fibonacci retracement levels
  2. Apply Fibonacci to cleaner swings and structure
  3. Use retracement areas as zones of interest rather than guarantees
  4. Combine Fibonacci with support, resistance, and trend
  5. Avoid forcing Fibonacci onto poor chart swings

Objectives

  1. Use Fibonacci extensions to identify stretched price conditions
  2. Recognise possible reaction and exhaustion areas
  3. Use extensions alongside structure and momentum context
  4. Judge whether price still has room to continue

Group Session 1: What Turns a Chart Pattern into a Tradeable Setup?
Live Zoom Session
2026-10-14
7:00 pm
Most traders can spot a pattern, but far fewer can judge whether it is actually tradeable. This month focuses on setup quality, including location, timing, structure, context, and room to move, so members can become more selective and consistent.

Learn how to judge whether a pattern is technically strong by looking at location, structure, timing, and room to move.

Objectives

  1. Separate a chart pattern from a technically valid setup
  2. Judge setup location in relation to structure and levels
  3. Assess whether timing is early, mature, or already late
  4. Recognise when a setup has enough room to work

Chart Patterns That Still Matter
Group Session 1: The Chart Patterns Worth Paying Attention To
Live Zoom Session
2026-11-11
7:00 pm
Chart patterns can still be useful when they are interpreted with context instead of textbook rigidity. This month focuses on practical pattern recognition and how to judge whether a pattern is valid, weak, or already too late to matter.

Focus on patterns that still have practical value, such as flags, wedges, triangles, channels, and double tops or bottoms.

Objectives

  1. Recognise common chart patterns that still add value
  2. Understand the structure behind flags, wedges, and triangles
  3. Read patterns as behaviour rather than textbook shapes
  4. Compare cleaner patterns with weaker or distorted ones

Learn when stretched markets are more likely to revert and when fading price is a low-quality idea.

Objectives

  1. Understand what mean reversion is in practical chart terms
  2. Recognise stretched price versus healthy trend movement
  3. Separate cleaner reversion conditions from dangerous fades
  4. Use location and context to improve reversion analysis
